DTT – DIRECT TO TEXTILE

DTT – DIRECT TO TEXTILE

Roll printing known as DTT (Direct to Textile) or Roll-to-roll printing is a printing technique in which a roll of fabric is unrolled, printed, and then rolled back onto a roll. Roll-to-roll printing is a method that enables fast and precise printing on roll-fed materials.

How does DTT (Digital Printing on Roll) work?

  1. 1. The fabric is fed into the machine from a single roll.
  2. The printer continuously prints the fabric.
  3. The finished, printed fabric is then rewound onto a roll.

Advantages of DTT roll-to-roll printing:

  • continuous printing – ideal for large print runs and long formats (e.g., 50 meters of fabric without interruption)
  • efficiency – high printing speed, no need to feed individual sheets
  • precision – perfect color registration, ability to print highly detailed images.
